Reducing sugar consumption - many people are rightly concerned about this topic. But can you make moist, sweet chocolate brownies without added sugar or other sweeteners? Our recipe for sugar-free date chocolate brownies proves it. And the added chocolate is also completely sugar-free thanks to the 100% cocoa content. Natural ingredients such as ripe banana and dried dates provide a natural sweetness. The recipe is quick and easy to prepare and is also 100% plant-based.
Ingredients
For 6 persons
For the brownies:
200 g
dried dates, pitted
160 ml
oat milk, heated
110 g
ripe banana, mashed
40 g
VIVANI Superior Dark 100% Cacao + Nibs chocolate, roughly chopped
2 tbsp
sunflower oil
2 tsp
peanut butter
30 g
VIVANI Fine Cocoa Powder (unsweetend)
30 g
ground hazelnuts
30 g
flour
1 tsp
baking powder
To serve:
coconut chips
VIVANI Fine Cocoa Powder (unsweetend)

Preheat the oven to 175 °C top/bottom heat. Line a square baking tin (26 x 20 cm) with baking paper.

Soak the dates in the hot oat drink for 5-10 minutes. Then puree.

Stir the banana, 20 g chopped chocolate, oil and peanut butter into the date puree.

Add the flour, cocoa powder, ground hazelnuts and baking powder and mix well.

Pour the batter into the tin and smooth out. Sprinkle the remaining 20 g of chopped chocolate over the batter.

Bake the cake for 18-20 minutes. The brownie should still be soft on the inside. Leave to cool completely and dust with cocoa powder and sprinkle with coconut chips before serving.
