“For me, painting is a process from what I have seen, experienced and felt to something new. It requires silence, to turn within oneself, to forget oneself. The change between conscious and unconscious action creates a picture with detached, new independence. If it is successful, it also touches others. My pictures should give the viewer free space to his own perceptions, interpretations and feelings.”

 About the artist

‘As sisters, we inspire each other – this is how our very diverse painting styles and directions are created. We don’t plan our paintings in advance, but let ourselves be spontaneously inspired by intuition, moods and styles. Some paintings are created together and some are created side by side.’
