Ein Schoko-Orangen-Tiramisu mit frischen Orangen wird mit Kakaopulver bestäubt.

This Chocolate and Orange Tiramisu is a simple but impressive dessert for all occasions. The recipe is quick to prepare and is layered in a mould of your choice. It is easy to prepare in advance when guests are coming, as it needs to be left in the fridge for at least two hours before serving. This fruity variation on the Italian dessert with its typical mascarpone cream contains freshly squeezed orange juice instead of espresso and amaretto, making it alcohol- and caffeine-free. Further layers consist of sponge fingers and melted VIVANI Fine Dark Orange Chocolate.

Why the ‘Fine Bitter Orange’ is the perfect match for this tiramisu

Die Tafel Feine Bitter Orange von VIVANI Bio-Schokolade.

The Fine Dark Orange Chocolate is a classic blend of mild dark chocolate with 70% cocoa content and essential orange oil. The organic cocoa used comes from the Dominican Republic and is particularly aromatic. The bar can also be easily melted and is ideal for cakes, desserts, etc. that need to be refined with fruity notes. In this tiramisu, the essential oil in the chocolate intensifies the citrus flavour of the fresh orange juice and orange zest. The bitter notes of the chocolate form an exciting contrast to the sweet cream and sugary ladyfingers.
