Chocolate Iced Coffee | Recipe
With cardamom and orange chocolate

On warm summer days, refreshing drinks such as iced coffee or iced chocolate are popular in ice cream parlours and cafés alongside creamy ice cream. If you can't decide which to choose, our chocolate iced coffee is the delicious compromise. Instead of ice cream, however, we prepare this speciality with milk and ice cubes. With ground cardamom and our Fine Dark Orange Chocolate, we add spicy and fruity notes that turn this drink into a multifaceted flavour spectacle.
Ingredients
For 1 portion
1 tsp
instant coffee
40 ml
hot wasser
0.5 tsp
ground cardamom
2 tsp
sugar
50 g
VIVANI Fine Dark Orange Chocolate + a little more for decoration
1 normal glass
cold milk
50 g
cream
a few
ice cubes

Put the instant coffee into a cup. Pour hot water over it and stir. Add the cardamom and sugar and mix well until everything is dissolved.

Melt the chocolate carefully in a bain-marie and then leave to cool for a few minutes.

Whip the cream with a hand mixer until stiff. Finely grate some chocolate for the decoration.

Pour about ¾ of the milk into a big glass, add the coffee and chocolate and stir well. Then add the ice cubes and the rest of the milk and garnish with cream and grated chocolate.
Tip: If you prefer to enjoy your chocolate iced coffee vegan, simply replace the milk and cream with a plantmilk and a vegan whipped cream of your choice. The recipe can then be prepared in exactly the same way, because the chocolate used is vegan.
