Hot or cold indulgence with white chocolate

A delicious trend that combines Japanese tea culture with Western coffee specialities gets a chocolaty upgrade with us: our recipe for delicious matcha latte with white chocolate. The drink with lots of white chocolate is a rich luxury version of the classic matcha latte and tastes great both warm and iced. If you want to save calories, simply use a little less chocolate.
Ingredients
For 2 glasses
1 tsp
Matcha tea powder
70 ml
hot water
250 ml
oat or almond milk
100 g
VIVANI White Cooking Chocolate

Place the matcha in a bowl. Add the hot water and stir well until the tea powder is completely dissolved.

Pour the plant milk into a small pan. Break the white cooking chocolate into pieces and add. Heat over a medium heat until the chocolate has completely melted. Stir occasionally.

Pour the warm plant milk and chocolate mixture into a tall coffee glass. Add the dissolved matcha and mix well until an even green colour is achieved.

For a hot version, enjoy the matcha latte immediately. For a refreshing, cold version, leave the drink to cool and serve with ice.

Tip: For a light version of this matcha latte, use only 60 g of chocolate instead of 100 g.
